How to apply for an OEM code
The Art-Net specification requires all Art-Net devices have a valid OEM code so they can be identified. To obtain an OEM code for a new Art-Net device, please collate the following information:
- Company Name
- Product Name
- Number of DMX inputs
- Number of DMX outputs
- Are the DMX ports physical as opposed to emulated? (answer ‘y’ or ‘n’)
- Is RDM supported? (answer ‘y’ or ‘n’)
- Applicant email address
- Applicant full name
- Product or Company URL
Then email the information to: OEMcode@ArtisticLicence.com, using the title “OEM code application”.
Applications that include product names containing “Art”, “Art-Net”, “Artistic”, “Licence” and similar will not be accepted.
Once this information has been received an OEM code will be assigned to the new product. The codes can be found on our OEM code listing page.
