If a node has DMX inputs and DMX outputs set by the user to the same Port-Address, what will happen?
The DMX inputs will generate ArtDmx packets as they would normally. However, as the Node is subscribed to that same Port-Address it will also receive the data it generated and output it as DMX512. Some manufacturers (Artistic Licence included) choose to detect this situation and transfer the data inside the product as well as sending to the network. This approach is not mandatory but it is recommended as it reduces latency.
